Boyd was appointed Director in 2006 and Board Chairman in 2013. Boyd has a background in local government, business management, and community involvement. His community involvement ranges from Meals on Wheels, P & C, RSL, and disability groups to name a few. He brings with him over 40 years of involvement with various church committees at local, State and National levels.
Graham was appointed Director in 2013. Graham is the local Pharmacist and has been in the industry for 20 years. Graham is passionate about the pharmaceutical industry, the community and dedicated to providing quality healthcare to our residents and the wider community. His experience brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board of Governance, not only in healthcare but in business management, as he owns and operates the Pharmacy in Gayndah. Graham was recently appointed Vice Chairman in February 2016.
Alex was appointed to the Board in 2017. His 30 years’ experience in the banking industry has provided Alex with a board exposure to many businesses and industries. His current position as NAB Agribusiness Manager for the past 13 years, requires a wide skill-set including financial analysis, budgeting, managing risk, together with coaching and supporting a team; all valuable skill which he brings to his position as a board member.
Elvia was appointed Director in 1997, with a background in business management. She has been involved in the community through her work as a public servant for 25 years, and is actively involved in numerous community groups. She brings a wealth of local knowledge, and has an ongoing commitment to the economic growth of the community.
Tracy was appointed Director in 2017. Born and raised in Gayndah, Tracy is now raising her own family here. Along with her husband, Trevor, they have owned and operated their earthmoving business for over 20 years. Tracy, who is passionate about her home town, has been actively involved in many community organisations during most of her adult life and enjoys giving back to her community through this community involvement.
Appointed as a Director in 2017, Andrew Goldie is currently the Principal at Gayndah State Primary School. He has a passion for teaching and learning, and loves watching people master new skills. Andrew enjoys meeting people, travelling and experiencing new cultures. He has worked all over Queensland and has now been part of the Gayndah community for approximately 10 years.
With a rural background, Mye-Ann is a Gayndah local of 38 years and runs a cattle property and sawmill alongside her family.
Mye-Ann believes that Gunther Village is an incredibly important facility to have in our town and hopes that by contributing as board member she can help ensure the maintenance and viability of this vital service.
