Fee Structure

Gunther Village takes pride in providing choice to clients when entering into our care. We provide each individual with person centred care, and choice in regards to accommodation options and payment.

We offer two types of accommodation – Core room and Superior room, with choice of payment options, an upfront refundable accommodation deposit (RAD), or a daily accommodation payment (DAP), or a combination of the two. Below are the details regarding our accommodation options, if you require any further information please contact our Facility Manager Vicki Boyd.

The payment options provided below are based on the maximum room prices and are not applicable to Government supported clients. A basic daily fee of up to 85% of the Australian single aged care pension will also be payable.*

Core Room

Room size: min 16.5m2 plus 6m2 ensuite
Room Features
  • Comfortable shared room (maximum 2 people) with an ensuite with capturing gardens and mountain views of the surrounds
  • All rooms include electric bed, bedside table, built in robe, telephone connection, and individual reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Common Area Features
  • Multiple outdoor courtyards that offer manicured lawns and gardens.
  • TV Lounge, dinning and activities room with several quiet sitting areas
  • Coffee shop for residents and visiting family and friends.
Extras at No Charge
  • Gunther Village offers residents two meal options, with all our meals cooked fresh directly from our kitchen.
  • We offer residents free happy hour every month, and several bus outings through out the month in our village bus (with wheel chair capacity)
Payment Options
Maximum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) $195,000 OR PAY
Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) $21.90 OR PAY
Combination of the two RAD (1/2) $97,500 DAP (1/2) $10.95

Superior Room

Room size: min 12.5m2 plus 6m2 ensuite
Room Features
  • Spacious private room with ensuite capturing gardens and mountain views of the surrounds
  • All rooms include electric bed, bedside table, built in robe, telephone
    connection, and individual reverse cycle air-conditioning

  • Multiple outdoor courtyards that offer manicured lawns and gardens.
  • TV Lounge, dinning and activities room with several quiet sitting areas
  • Coffee shop for residents and visiting family and friends.
