Medical
Our facility provides a broad range of services onsite including 24 hour nursing care which is provided by both trained and registered nursing staff. Residents within the home are able to access the services of the towns 2 General Practitioners, who visit the home on a weekly basis, as well as providing 24hr emergency services. Residents are supported to access specialist services, following referral from their medical Officer.
Allied Health
All residents are provided with a broad range of allied health services. These include, but are not limited to; Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Dietician, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy.
Beauty Therapy
You will find located within our facility a ‘Beauty Bar’ which is operated by a qualified beautician two days a week, offering a broad range of services at very reasonable rates. Whether it be a relaxing facial, a manicure or pedicure the Beauty Bar is the place to go. Gift vouchers to the Beauty Bar have become a popular option for those not sure what to buy for their family member, after they have moved into the home.
Massage Therapy
A qualified massage therapist works within our facility, providing a range of services as part of your every day care. Other services in relation to massage therapy can be provided and paid for on an individual basis. Our massage therapist is onsite 5 days a week, and is flexible with appointment times.
Hairdresser
A hairdresser visits our facility once a week, providing a full range of hairdressing services. Appointments can be made through our Lifestyle Coordinator.
Conference Facilities
Gunther Village has a large conference room, and is able to provide full conference facilities including catering. The conference centre may also be utilized by families as a venue to hold birthday parties or other celebrations. This has proved a popular option, given that catering is available onsite. Accommodation
In line with our commitment to support residents and their families, we have 2 fully furnished, self contained apartments for use by visiting family or friends. A small daily service fee is charged for the use of the apartments. This enables families from out of town to spend time together without the added burden of accommodation costs. It also gives family the opportunity to spend time within the village, getting to know staff and other residents as they wish.
