  • Bruce Bryan
    Bruce BryanFacility Manager

    Bruce was appointed to the position of Facility Manger in August 2015. He has an extensive management background in community service organisations, including residential and community aged care, community housing and disability services. Bruce has highly developed skills in operational, financial and human resource management, and has a passion for developing systems to ensure the provision of person-centred care.

    • Lesley Daniells
      Lesley DaniellsSenior Administration Officer

      Lesley has worked within the administration of Gunther Village for over 32 years. She provides a wealth of knowledge specialising in accounts management, payroll, customer service and data entry. She is committed to ensuring her administration team delivers the highest levels of customer service.

      • Jason Thompson
        Jason ThompsonCatering Manager

        Jason commenced working at Gunther Village in 2006, as Kitchen Manager and works closely with our Support Services Team, catering for residents meals and special occasions. Within his role he also acts as the facility’s Food Safety Advisor which ensures the Food Safety Program is consistent with all legislative requirements.

        • Jenny Thompson
          Jenny ThompsonLifestyle Coordinator

          Jenny commenced work at Gunther Village in 2001 after completing her Diploma in Hospitality Management. She co-ordinates both the Support Services Team and Lifestyle Therapists. Jenny is passionate about her team providing a stimulating, meaningful activity program that is also personalised to meet individual needs.

          • Sandra Duncan
            Sandra DuncanCommunity Liaisons Officer

            Sandra commenced work at Gunther Village in 2010 as part of the Support Services Team and then pursued a career in nursing. She completed her Certificate III in Aged Care and Community in 2013 and then moved into the role of the Community Liaison Officer. As part of this role she coordinates the Gayndah Meals on Wheels service for the community, and assists in the coordination of Elsebach Place.

            • Rose Bernie
              Rose BernieEducation Coordinator

              Rose commenced work at Gunther Village in 1998 and completed her Certificate III and IV in Aged Care. During this time she was appointed as Education Coordinator and works closely with the Southern Queensland Institute of Tafe (SQIT) to support staff who are completing traineeships. In addition to her education role, she also fulfils additional roles as Team Leader, Continence Coordinator, Fire Safety Advisor and holds a keen interest in Manual Handling.

              • Kate Burns
                Kate BurnsSystems Coordinator

                Kate first came to work at Gunther Village in 2009 and was appointed as Systems Coordinator in 2013. During that period she has worked in all departmental areas to further assist her knowledge of quality systems management, and completed a Diploma in Business Management in 2013. Her role as Systems Coordinator is to ensure that there are effective quality systems in place, improving and assisting the implementation of continuous quality improvements and minimising risks through fostering an environment of excellence.

                • Leighton Kreis
                  Leighton KreisMaintenance Coordinator

                  Leighton was appointed as Maintenance Coordinator in 2009. He liaises with suppliers and contractors to ensure things are repaired quickly to minimise the impact on residents and staff. He also maintains the grounds and ensures our preventative maintenance program is on schedule. During his time here at Gunther Village Leighton has completed a number of courses, part of his role includes Fire Safety Advisory.
